Alenmaa Pharamaceuticals Sundries & Equipment Company (APSECO) was established in 1972, named National Pharmaceutical Company to import medicines and medical equipment to Libyan ministry of health. The company became one of the most valuable group owned by the Economic, Social and Development Fund (ESDF ) since 2009.

- In 2009 the company becoming the exclusive import and distribute of the special medicines to the private hospital, clinic and private hospital.
- Currently employ approximately 285 employees in four branches Tripoli, Bengazee, Misrata and Sabha.
- APSECO warehouses has been constructed to the International Standards and operated according to modern processes
